I’m Steph, a freelance writer based in Northwest Wisconsin and specializing in personal finance, real estate, home improvement, and design. Through well-researched and clearly written content, I’ll help you reach your audience and offer valuable insights, strategies, and information.

As an avid budgeter and lover of sinking funds, I use my personal experience managing money and in-depth research to guide readers through their own personal finance journey.

In the real estate space, I leverage in-depth research to create content that makes the prospect of buying and selling a home less daunting. By providing the information that homebuyers and sellers need, whether it’s their first home or their tenth, I walk them through processes and information that can seem overwhelming and scary, easing their mind and giving them all the information that they need to make educated choices.

My love of home improvement and design goes back a long way, to the time my dad found me ripping the carpet out of my bedroom because I wanted to reveal the hardwood floors underneath! Later room design choices included a few interesting paint jobs, including orange and white stripes, and a faux fireplace I dragged home from a yard sale.

In 2009, I met my friend Bobby who hired me (after much convincing as I had very little experience) as his assistant in his kitchen remodeling business. Under his guidance, I learned how to install cabinets, cut half a blade width off of crown molding, and lay flooring. I use this knowledge to create clear and accessible content for your readers as they tackle their own home improvement projects.
